Listenova Privacy Policy
This policy explains how Listenova (package com.worldradio.live) handles information when you use the application. The player is designed to process your local audio on your device.
Local audio and app settings
When you grant media access, Listenova reads audio metadata and folder locations needed to display and play files on your device. The player does not upload your local audio files. Audio URLs, favorites, collections, queue preferences, themes, timers, and alarm configuration are stored locally in the application data unless a feature below explicitly uses an online service.
Permissions
- Audio or storage access: discovers and plays audio you select on the device.
- Notifications and foreground service: shows playback controls and supports background playback.
- Alarm and wake permissions: schedules and presents audio alarms you create.
- Network access: plays audio URLs and supports optional online features and service integrations.
Optional community chat
If you use community chat, Listenova may derive a country code from the network or SIM configuration without requesting GPS location. The code selects a country room; if it cannot be determined, the global room is used. Chat can process your display name, account identifier, messages, moderation reports, device messaging token, and country-room selection through Firebase Authentication, Realtime Database, and Cloud Messaging.
Diagnostics, measurement, and consent
The application integrates Google services that may process app-instance identifiers, device information, diagnostics, crash data, usage events, network information, and consent choices according to their configuration and your choices. These services can include Firebase Analytics, Firebase Crashlytics, Google Mobile Ads, and Google User Messaging Platform. Retention and deletion
You can remove local app data by clearing the application data or uninstalling Listenova. Chat account deletion is available through the in-app account controls; you may also contact us for help. Online records may remain for a limited period in service backups or where retention is necessary for security, moderation, fraud prevention, or legal obligations.
Security and children
We use the safeguards provided by Android and our service providers, but no storage or transmission method is completely secure. Listenova is a general-audience audio player and is not directed to children under the age required for independent consent in their country.
Changes
We may update this policy when the application or applicable requirements change. The date at the top identifies the latest version.
